Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with scientists, business, and infrastructure experts to design impactful data solutions that scale across all our customer's countries.
- Build and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to continuously improve data pipelines.
- Ensure high quality and stability through agile processes and peer code reviews.
- Share your ideas and advocate for innovative approaches.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering (5+ years for senior position).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of Python and its associated frameworks.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, CI / CD, monitoring, automation, and testing.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and building secure cloud architectures.
- Understanding of data lakes and their concepts is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization is a plus.
- Azure Certifications are a plus.
- Experience with machine learning, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and model selection, is a plus.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
