Verification engineer - (m/f/d)
Job Description
The focus will be to support the design and development team by maintaining a V&V program for new product development. You will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and executing verification and validation test protocols in accordance with company quality procedures.
Your responsibilities
- Develop verification strategies for medical devices with focus on software-driven electromechanical components at sub-system and system level
- Create test equipment, fixtures including design of hardware and / or software
- Developing statistical sample justifications
- Interact with cross functional team members to ensure risk / safety mitigation tests
- Perform testing activities and data analysis using needed statistical techniques
- Write and release final report
- Create, review and optimize reusable test cases by developing test environments and scenarios

Requirements

Your skills and experience
- Masters degree in electrical, Mechanical or Medical Engineering or related disciplines or comparable background.
- Several years of experience in similar roles, preferably accrued in medical devices companies
- Working knowledge of automated requirements and test management tools such as Polarion, Doors, etc.
- Experience on leading solutions related to testing for Electrical and Mechanical design
- Good experience with CAN-Bus communication
- Understanding of safety critical environments
- Experience in IEC -1 and IEC is a plus
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), German language is a plus
