Job Description

The focus will be to support the design and development team by maintaining a V&V program for new product development. You will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and executing verification and validation test protocols in accordance with company quality procedures.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop verification strategies for medical devices with focus on software-driven electromechanical components at sub-system and system level
  • Create test equipment, fixtures including design of hardware and / or software
  • Developing statistical sample justifications
  • Interact with cross functional team members to ensure risk / safety mitigation tests
  • Perform testing activities and data analysis using needed statistical techniques
  • Write and release final report
  • Create, review and optimize reusable test cases by developing test environments and scenarios

    Your skills and experience

  • Masters degree in electrical, Mechanical or Medical Engineering or related disciplines or comparable background.
  • Several years of experience in similar roles, preferably accrued in medical devices companies
  • Working knowledge of automated requirements and test management tools such as Polarion, Doors, etc.
  • Experience on leading solutions related to testing for Electrical and Mechanical design
  • Good experience with CAN-Bus communication
  • Understanding of safety critical environments
  • Experience in IEC -1 and IEC is a plus
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), German language is a plus
