The HRS Business TravelClub (BTC) is the Business Unit managing and developingthe HRS E-Commerce platforms of the well-known hotel portalbusinesses of HRS.de and HOTEL.DE that gradually transform intomuch more than “just” a platform. BTC provides its members,individual business travelers and SMEs, with a distinct range ofexclusive services, which shape tomorrow´s upgraded travelexperience. The goal of BTC is to deliver growth as well assustainable profitability over time by enhancing customer loyaltybetween the brand and its customers, enabling the BrandsRepositioning in the marketplace and unlocking additionalpotentials via optimized supplier management. Thus, BTC and itsproducts play an important role in HRS´s DACH strategy as itrevolves around a disruption of the interplay between hotel andworkplace supply and e-commerce and a domination of the BusinessTravel DACH market. Your mission is to further develop and shapethe "The HRS Business Travel Club" and its solutions and make itthe next innovation of the HRS Group together with a greatteam.

POSITION

Weare seeking a highly skilled and experienced product leader to joinour team as Director Product Management.

In thisrole, you will lead our product teams of six people, drive thediscovery phase of new features, and optimize our booking funnelsfor maximum efficiency and conversion.

You willcoach and develop product managers, implementing modern productmanagement practices into the organization. This role is integralin defining the strategic and operational direction of productdevelopment for the HRS Business Travel Club E-Commerceunit.

CHALLENGE

  • Ownthe Product vision and strategy. Together with Engineering andDesign, you are responsible for the roadmap and execution. Ensureproduct development initiatives are closely integrated with overallbusiness strategies.
  • Champion the productdiscovery, identify customer needs along the customer journey,conduct interviews, and create problem spaces for product managersto explore.
  • Lead the development andimplementation of a comprehensive conversion rate optimization(CRO) strategy. Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, fromconcept to launch, ensuring continuousoptimization.
  • Define key performance indicators(KPIs) and establish a framework for ongoing monitoring andcommunicate progress and insights tostakeholders.
  • Develop and lead a team ofmultiple Product Managers, support them as a mentor, and empowerthem to grow together. You foster a culture of excellence andinnovation, set high standards and encourage the team to achievestrategic goals.
  • Contribute to the furtherdevelopment of product management and ensure a focus on results,transparency, and efficientworkflow.

  • Extensiveexperience in product management and an in-depth understanding ofthe various aspects and requirementsinvolved.
  • Proven success in leading and scalingproduct management teams, with a track record of deliveringuser-centric solutions that drive significant business growth andimprove conversion rates.
  • Deep understanding ofproduct development processes, agile methodologies, and experiencewith event driven, microservicesarchitecture.
  • Strong strategic planning skills,with the expertise to develop product roadmaps, allocate resourceseffectively, and use data-driven decisions to steer productdirection.
  • A passion for optimizing thecustomer experience and a demonstrated capability for conductinginterviews with customers, defining areas for improvement, andfocusing on delivering customervalue.
  • Excellent leadership skills with thetalent to inspire and motivate teams. Ability to thrive in afast-paced, dynamic environment, with a track record of leadingcontinuous improvement initiatives and drivinginnovation.
  • Experience of working in a globalcontext and understanding diverse market needs are highlybeneficial.
  • Fluent in German and English, bothwritten andspoken.
