Business Development Director (m / w / d)
Developing new business and therapeutic area for Generic / Chemical products. Not only expanding product pipelines including optimal generic and chemical covering for EU region but also searching candidate companies to collaborate with the business. As such, these professionals, with appropriate autonomy and authority, must be able to establish their own subordinate structure, be experts to advise their manager and to be self-motivated.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead retail channel business unit
- Establish and organize new business unit organization for entering generic / chemical therapeutic area covering EU region
- Develop optimal generic / chemical product pipeline which can maximize synergy with company’s currently commercialized products
- Collaborate and negotiate with other generic / chemical companies to license-in some products and / or conduct partnership business
- Search and monitor potential merger / acquisition candidate companies and take practical steps, if strategically necessary
- Identify market / industry trends, growth opportunities, and competitor threats in chemical / generic market
- Develop and implement achievable and strategically aligned goals that support the strategic direction of the business. Monitor the progress of these goals and implement coaching improvement strategies where necessary
- Create a positive team environment through the demonstration of strong leadership behaviors, including communicating expectations clearly, instilling an atmosphere of trust and respect, and leading by example
