We are looking for a Backend Engineer (Python) to join our team at straiv. In this role youll play a key part in designing developing and maintaining our Hotel App.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan develop test and release new features in collaboration with the team.

• Take a hands-on role in building systems from the ground up contributing to strategic engineering initiatives as we rebuild our platform.

• Continuously improve the performance scalability and reliability of our applications.

• Ensure high code quality through best practices like code reviews testing and documentation.

• You share your technical knowledge and guide other developers in the team and thus continuously contribute to the improvement of our solution.

What you bring

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience withPython FastAPI.

• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and AWS.

• Plus points for experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL MS SQL)

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.

• Excellent collaboration skills thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• English fluency (written & spoken)

• A valid work permit forGermany.
