Industry Nine is a bicycle component manufacturer from in Asheville, NC specializing in wheels, hubs, stems and headsets.

We have sales, service, and assembly facilities in the US and Europe. At Industry Nine, we prioritize our technological advancements alongside color customization, ensuring the ultimate expression for riders with our handmade, high-quality, and performance-driven components.

Position Summary :

Industry Nine is seeking a sales representative or agency to oversee sales in Germany and Austria. Industry Nine is open to a variety of candidates ranging from reps to veteran sales and marketing professionals with the primary goal of leveraging the i9 brand to drive significant revenue growth through our retail and OEM channels.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Develop and expand the dealer network in Germany and Austria through the acquisition of new customers while also supporting existing customers in the region.
  • Efficiently plan and execute travel routes to maximize time and effectiveness in visiting dealerships.
  • Sales planning and control in line with global sales strategies
  • Carry out regular market analysis for the region.
  • Provide translated text from English to German when necessary for sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Presence at events and tradeshows in the region
  • Additional responsibilities based on experience

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Fluent in English and German
  • Extensive experience in the bike industry as a sales representative or shop salesperson
  • Sales talent with enthusiasm and passion for all aspects of cycling
  • Able to work independently and motivated by results
  • Ability to prioritize goals
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel frequently
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Residence in Germany or Austria

Additional (but not necessary) Qualifications :

  • Some knowledge of Spanish
  • Relevant customer contacts
  • Experience with SAP
