wiss. Mitarbeiter(in) / PostDoc automated cell culture facility
23.10., Academic staff
Automated cell culture systems are transforming the way we study complex biological processes. By enabling reproducible, standardized, and high-throughput generation of stem-cell derived models, these platforms open new avenues to systematically explore tissue self-organization and disease mechanisms. The group of Prof. Bausch is establishing an automated cell culture facility and is looking for a PostDoc (f/m/d)
The Mission
The reliable generation of organoids and gastruloids at scale requires both advanced stem cell biology and cutting-edge automation. Within this project, we aim to establish and operate a fully automated cell culture pipeline for pluripotent stem cells and their derivatives. The position involves developing and maintaining protocols for robust stem cell handling, differentiation, and organoid formation, while inte-grating automated imaging, quality control, and data analysis. A strong component of the work will be the programming and customization of workflows in Python to optimize throughput, reproducibility, and data management. The overarching goal is to create a standardized and scalable platform that accel-erates discovery in stem cell biology and organoid-based research. For more information go to:
