Repair, overhaul, and modification of sheet metal components in the shop and sheet metal repairs on the aircraft.
Carry out sheet metal repairs in accordance with approved Maintenance data.
Take responsibility for using correct manual references when accomplishing and signing off work.
Advise his / her immediate superior on discrepancies in the planned workflow.
Provide end of shift verbal or written handovers to team members and superiors.
Operate the shop equipment and machines according to his authorization.
Maintain and service shop equipment / machines as per instructions.
Apply the 5S principles to keep the workspace clean and safe.
Essential Requirements For The Position :
Good knowledge and understanding of Boeing manuals and technical drawings.
5-7 years of experience in sheet metal repairs on the aircraft and on components.
Experience in heat treatment and forming, shrinking, rolling using best practices.
Team player with good communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work at height or in confined spaces.
Good computer knowledge in MS Office.
Working Conditions :
Full-time position, based in Luxembourg.
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965 / 2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
A valid driving license will be required.
Category of the position is depending on the experience of the selected candidate.
