Deine Mission

Als hochqualifizierte / r Senior Softwareentwickler / in für Automatisierung und Robotik bist Du unter anderem für die Entwicklung von Bildverarbeitungs- und Assistenzfunktionen sowie für die Erstellung von Automatisierungskonzepten für unsere Fahrzeuge zuständig. Als frühes Teammitglied spielst Du eine entscheidende Rolle beim Aufbau und arbeitest Hand in Hand mit dem CTO.

Mit Dir können wir die Systeme so weiterentwickeln, dass wir in Zukunft die Vollautomatisierung erreichen. Auch in frühen Entwicklungsstadien helfen Deine Algorithmen, den Remote-Fahrer zu unterstützen (Assistenzsysteme).

Deine Aufgaben

  • entwerfen, entwickeln und implementieren von Automatisierungs- und Bildverarbeitungslösungen für unsere Fahrzeuge
  • entwerfen und entwickeln von Bildverarbeitungs-, SLAM-, Bahnplanungs- und Steuerungsalgorithmen
  • entwickeln und warten von Software für Automatisierungssysteme, einschließlich Programmierung in Sprachen wie C++ und Python
  • Fehlersuchen und -beseitigen bei Automatisierungssystemen
  • zusammenarbeiten mit externen Anbietern und Partnern bei der Beschaffung von Automatisierungskomponenten
  • informieren über neue Technologien und Trends in der Automatisierungstechnik

Dein Profil

  • Hintergrund in Robotik / Informatik (Bachelor / Master / Ph.D.) mit einer Erfolgsbilanz in der Entwicklung funktionaler Systeme
  • mindestens 3+ Jahre Industrieerfahrung im Bereich Fahrzeugautomatisierung / autonome Systeme
  • Erfahrung mit eingebetteten und Robotersystemen, einschließlich Bildverarbeitung, SLAM, Bahnplanung und Steuerung
  • gute Kenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung (C++ und Python) und Echtzeit-Linux
  • gute Kenntnisse von ROS / ROS 2
  • strukturierte und proaktive Arbeitsweise
  • ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Kooperationsfähigkeiten
  • Logistik- und Lagerbetriebskenntnisse von Vorteil

Stückweise integrieren wir ebenso vollautonome Funktionen, sodass zukünftig ein Fahrer mehrere Fahrzeuge steuern kann. Wir fokussieren uns auf Gabelstapler, mit denen unsere Kunden ihre Waren in den Warenhäusern bewegen.

    Your mission

    As a highly qualified Senior Software Developer for automation and robotics, your responsibilities include developing image processing and assistance functions, as well as creating automation concepts for our vehicles. As an early team member, you will play a crucial role in building a team together with the CTO. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future development of our systems, ensuring profitability, and enabling us to achieve full automation. Also in the early development stages, your algorithms help to support the remote driver (assistance systems).

    Your tasks

  • Design, development, and implementation of automation and image-processing solutions for our vehicles.
  • Design and development of machine vision, SLAM, path planning, and control algorithms.
  • Develop and maintain software for automation systems, including programming in languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging automation systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners in the procurement of automation components.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in automation technology.

    • Your profile

  • Background in robotics / computer science (Bachelor / Master / Ph.D.) with a track record of developing functional systems.
  • At least 3+ years of industry experience in vehicle automation / autonomous systems.
  • Experience with embedded and robotic systems, including machine vision, SLAM, path planning, and control.
  • Strong knowledge of software development (C++ and Python) and real-time Linux.
  • Strong knowledge of ROS / ROS 2.
  • Work in a structured and proactive manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations is advantageous.
