Austability GmbH, a leading European Defence contracting organisation, is seeking an experienced Contract, Procurement & Financial Administrator to provide comprehensive contract administration, procurement management, and financial oversight for operations across US military training installations in Bavaria, Germany. This appointment represents an opportunity to assume a critical support role within a high-value Defence contract supporting a Military Training Command. The successful candidate will join a proven organisation with an established track record of delivering quality-assured logistics support services to military clients.
The Role
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Contract, Procurement & Financial Administrator holds accountability for all contractual deliverables, procurement activities, and financial performance across three Bavarian training areas :
- Grafenwohr (GTA),
- Hohenfels (HTA),
- and Ansbach (ATA).
The role encompasses reporting compliance, vendor management, invoice processing, and budget monitoring.
Key Accountabilities :
Compilation and submission of Contract Daily Reports, PERSTAT, and weekly / monthly reporting to ClientMaintenance of deliverables tracking systems with 48-hour advance deadline warningsDevelopment and execution of procurement plans ensuring FAR / DFAR and prime contract complianceAdministration of subcontracts and monitoring of vendor performanceCoordination of competitive bidding processes and vendor negotiationsFinancial tracking against budget with 3% variance targetInvoice processing, accounts payable / receivable management, and collections monitoringPreparation of cost reports and forecast-to-complete analysesProvision of personnel data to support payroll processing and reportingCandidate Profile
Professional Experience :
Minimum 5 years' experience in contract administration, procurement, or financial managementMinimum 3 years' experience in government contract financial reporting and procurementDemonstrated experience with FAR / DFAR compliance, government invoicing, and procurement regulationsExperience with subcontract administration and vendor managementExperience with competitive bidding, source selection, and contract negotiationExperience with cost reporting, budgeting, and variance analysisQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldProficiency in financial management systems (D365 F&O advantageous)Professional certification in procurement or finance advantageous (e.g., CIPS, ACCA, CIMA)Languages : Fluent English (essential) German language proficiency (advantageous)
