Exciting Opportunity : Senior Account Manager - EMEA (Semiconductors & EDA)

A leading global provider of semiconductor and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to drive business growth across a defined European territory.

The client is a publicly traded, globally recognised leader in semiconductor design solutions .

This is a strategic sales role with substantial growth potential, focusing on a comprehensive range of EDA, TCAD, and IP products .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the sales efforts for a broad portfolio of semiconductor design tools and services, including software licensing, maintenance, and consulting.
  • Serve as the primary sales contact, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored business proposals and secure buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals with key clients.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans, including competitive displacements.
  • Achieve or exceed an annual sales quota, managing forecasts, pipelines, and revenue predictability.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in the semiconductor or EDA market.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering , Computer Science , or a closely related field.
  • In-depth understanding of IC design and simulation tools used in the semiconductor or photonics industries.
  • Strong customer network at technical, management, and executive levels.
  • Proven ability to manage the sales process from start to finish, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with a disciplined sales approach and a strong ability to close deals.
  • Willingness to travel for face-to-face customer meetings, with an expected travel schedule of 2-3 days per week.
