Senior Software Architect

We're partnered with a fast-growing, international software company who are looking for an additional architect to support the existing experienced team based in Munich. You'll own the architecture of cloud-based systems, drive critical technology decisions, and have a direct impact on how products are built and delivered.

Responsibilities

Lead solution and integration architecture for cloud-based products

Define and maintain the architecture roadmap, including microservices and DevOps adoption

Make technology decisions on frameworks, tools, and integration patterns

Guide development teams on design, architecture, and technology selection

Build prototypes and maintain clear architecture documentation

Ensure consistency, scalability, and technical quality across projects

Backend : .NET / C#

Frontend : Angular

Micro-services and container-based architectures

Requirements

10+ years of real engineering experience enough to understand complexity, legacy, and scale Strong grounding in software architecture, modern web systems, and cloud platforms

Practical experience moving toward or working within microservice architectures

Solid exposure to DevOps and modern delivery models

Hands-on understanding of containers and current engineering practices

Deep familiarity with Azure, .NET, Angular, and SQL

The confidence to challenge teams constructively and the backbone to sustain difficult discussions when needed
