Senior Cost Controller - North Rhine-Westphalia - Contract

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Cost Controller to join our project team in North Rhine-Westphalia. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in engineering and business economics who has successfully led cost control for multi-million-euro industrial and infrastructure projects across Germany.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in budget planning , cost tracking , forecasting , and project financial reporting , ensuring accurate and efficient management of complex capital investments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement cost control processes, tools, and reporting frameworks
• Monitor project budgets including change management, cash flow, risk, and asset tracking
• Prepare and validate cost estimates , forecasts , and profitability analyses
• Support resource planning , internal work order creation, and purchase requisitions in SAP
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align on cost objectives
• Participate in supplier negotiations and contribute to procurement strategies
• Conduct document management , schedule tracking, and cost risk analysis
• Prepare monthly project cost reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Contribute to project reviews, audits, and investment evaluations
