DataOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DataOps Engineer to join our client, a diverse global organisation driving a greener future.

Your Responsibilities :

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and reliability.

Develop efficient data models to support analytics and trading workflows, ensuring data is well-structured and accessible.

Integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and streaming services, into a unified system.

Implement and maintain data quality checks, validation processes, and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.

Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Monitor and optimise data pipeline performance, ensuring smooth data flow and minimising disruptions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs and leverage the latest tools and platforms.

Skills and Qualifications :

Demonstrated experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, Data Management, or Data Architecture- including experience building scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring data quality and governance.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data-centric development practices, and data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), programming in Python, and tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.

Expertise in managing event-based and time series data.

In-depth knowledge of modern data governance frameworks, data modelling, and both OLAP and OLTP systems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous learning in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Strong professional fluency in English is essential.
