DataOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DataOps Engineer to join our client, a diverse global organisation driving a greener future.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
  • Develop efficient data models to support analytics and trading workflows, ensuring data is well-structured and accessible.
  • Integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and streaming services, into a unified system.
  • Implement and maintain data quality checks, validation processes, and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
  • Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Monitor and optimise data pipeline performance, ensuring smooth data flow and minimising disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs and leverage the latest tools and platforms.
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, Data Management, or Data Architecture- including experience building scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring data quality and governance.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data-centric development practices, and data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), programming in Python, and tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.
  • Expertise in managing event-based and time series data.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern data governance frameworks, data modelling, and both OLAP and OLTP systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous learning in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong professional fluency in English is essential.
