FPGA Development Engineer (m/f/x) Aerospace

To support our team at a renowned customer in the aerospace industry, we are looking for an FPGA Development Engineer (m / f / x) in Munich for a permanent position at K-tronik.

Tasks :

• Specification and development of FPGA designs and FPGA board interfaces
• Design and implementation of FPGA designs on the target hardware
• Failure investigations on test hardware in a laboratory environment
• Development of FPGA test procedures and creation of test result reports
• Improvement of existing designs using real-time, static timing and post-layout simulations

Skills :

• Completed university degree in the field of electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in FPGA development in a process-controlled environment (DO-254, MIL-STD, ISO26262)
• Good knowledge of RTL design with VHDL or Verilog
• Experience with FPGA verification methods (e.g. RTL, STA, UVM) and tools such as QuestaSim
• Confident handling of a requirements management tool such as DOORS, Polarion or comparable
• Experience with communication interfaces such as RS485, ARINC429, CAN 2.0 or comparable
• Fluency in English
• Enthusiasm and curiosity for working on electronic systems for the aerospace industry would also be desirable :
• Knowledge of digital signal processing
• Experience in mixed-signal circuit design
• German and / or French language skills
