The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of life-saving medications.
- Supplier Relationship Management : Cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and overseeing supplier performance to guarantee the availability of high-quality raw materials and components.
- Inventory Optimization : Manage inventory levels and replenishment processes to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts, ensuring uninterrupted supply to our customers.
- Logistics Coordination : Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to optimize logistics efficiency and ensure timely delivery of products to patients, while minimizing transportation costs.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the supply chain, implementing best practices to streamline operations and increase productivity.
- Risk Mitigation : Assess and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions or regulatory challenges, through proactive planning and contingency measures.
The Supply Chain Manager should have the following qualifications and skills :
- Experience within supply chain management or related roles
- Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Fluency in English and German
