TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Asset Specialist Offshore cable (m / f / d) at our location Lehrte (Hannover) who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT

  • In this role you are respnsible for the creation, review and evaluation of technical specifications, guidelines and concepts
  • You manage and support the research and development projects in the field of cable installation with the purpose of optimizing TenneT's offshore assets
  • You take over the Support on the preparation of tender documents and specifications for cable projects as well as in negotiations
  • You are the contact person for technical questions during construction, operation and maintenance phases for offshore cables
  • You actively contribute a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors

Your profile and background

  • This position requires a university degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, offshore engineering or comparable technical qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of offshore cable installation and burial, knowledge of German offshore regulations is an advantage
  • Ability to find an optimal solution taking both the technical and economic factors into account
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various diverse project teams and internal / external partners / stakeholders
  • Very good written and spoken German and English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel on business and Class and a B driving license is required
