Embedded Software Development Engineer (m/f)

We are currently looking for the right person to join our Embedded data processing & Algorithms Department as an :

Embedded Software Development Engineer (m / f)

Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities would include :

• Development of real time software for electronics systems according to agreed timeline, respecting required quality and performance levels
• Support component level software requirements analysis
• Elaborate appropriate software architectures
• Design software on component level
• Code and test of software components
• Participate in review of use cases, software requirements and software architecture
• Organize and participate in reviews of software design, code and tests
• Handle configuration management, problem resolution for allocated components, quality audits
• Support SW process improvements
• Support SW coordinators and team leader to plan and execute SW projects

You would need to meet the following requirements :

• Academic degree in engineering, preferably in electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Working experience in C as an embedded programming language
• Working experience with :
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
• Embedded software architecture
• Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
• Requirement managing tools
• Knowledge of automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
• Knowledge of functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or similar
• Knowledge of cyber security standards like ISO / SAE 21434 or similar
• Knowledge of IBM Rhapsody tool chain or similar
• Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
