StellenbeschreibungLead Development : Leading and executing demanding software development projects, from requirements analysis to go-live, while adhering to the highest quality standards. Technical Leadership : Assuming technical leadership in projects, coordinating development teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Quality Assurance : Conducting code reviews, ensuring test coverage, and continuously improving our development processes and tools. Problem and Requirements Analysis : Analyzing complex technical problems and customer requirements, developing and implementing software changes for WCS (warehouse management system), MFC (material flow controller), and OFS (Order Fulfillment System) systems. Mentoring and Coaching : Actively supporting and providing technical guidance to junior developers within the team. Strategic Consulting : Providing technical advice and working closely with customers, project teams and customer support. Process Optimization : Analyzing and optimizing support and development processes in an international environment, particularly regarding 24 / 7 operational requirements. Professional Experience : At least 7-10 years of profound professional experience in software development, ideally within the logistics, automation, or WCS + MFC environment. Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical abilities and a structured, solution-oriented approach to complex problems. Service Orientation : High degree of service and customer orientation. Technical Expertise : Excellent knowledge and several years of experience in Java software development (Java > Proficient in handling complex databases, especially Oracle (SQL, PL / SQL). Experience with modern architectural concepts (e.g., MFC, Design patterns, etc). Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Ant, Git, SVN) Communication : Fluent in written and spoken German and English. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Leadership Qualities : Proven experience in technical leadership of development teams or team lead roles. Willingness to Travel : Occasional willingness to travel for customer engagement and visiting current warehouse installations. Logistics IT : In-depth understanding of the logistics IT landscape and experience with automation environments / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
