Your role

• Lead and develop a team of industry analysts focussed on market sizing and analysis within our Statista research unit ensuring high-quality strategic market analysis and thought leadership.

• Consult and guide clients through multi-method tailored research projects providing clear recommendations and strategic insights that drive their business decisions.

• Design the optimal research approach in collaboration with cross-functional experts and present align and refine proposals directly with clients.

• Continuously coach and upskill team members fostering individual growth and ensuring the team meets evolving market and client needs.

• Apply refine and advance our portfolio of research methodologies to consistently deliver innovative high-value solutions that exceed client expectations.

• Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen your teams performance and contribute to the overall development and positioning of the Statista unit.

Your profile

• Degree in economics business or a related analytical field ideally at Masters level

• 3-5 years experience in market research or strategic market analysis including client-facing project work

• Proven leadership skills with experience coaching and developing team members

• Strong analytical communication and presentation skills with excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint

• High client orientation structured working style and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Curiosity for innovation in research methods and a strong affinity for AI-driven tools and approaches

• Fluent German and English skills both written and spoken to work effectively with clients and internal teams
