We are growing our engineering team in Berlin and the perfect addition to our team is a senior full stack developer who is working beyond pure software development. You will be working closely with product management, defining work-packages and guarding the development process. You show bias for action, proactively take responsibility and you question the status quo.

WITH THESE SKILLS YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT MATCH

MUST HAVES

You want to learn and grow as a Senior Full Stack Developer in an innovative and vibrant tech environment

You have 6+ years experience with Ruby on Rails or similar with 2+ years in a lead position

You have some experience with React or similar Javascript frameworks and are familiar with a complex application landscapes

You are familiar with CI / CD, TDD, working agile and code reviews

You know how to translate a product vision and business features into technical requirements

You speak English fluently

A university degree in computer science or comparable education

You are an empathetic team player with strong communication skills

NICE TO HAVE

You have experience with Python and / or machine learning

You have experience with AWS, DevOps and monitoring and observability tools like New Relic

You are familiar with PostgreSQL

You have experience with securing and enabling high availability for critical services

You know how to work efficiently in a distributed environment

German language skills are a big plus

You have some background with Twilio or the telecom industry
