Job Title : Private Equity Associate (Investment Professional)

Location : Frankfurt, Germany

NATIVE GERMAN SPEAKER REQUIRED

We are working with a renowned large-cap private equity fund with sector-specialized investment teams and a strong presence in Europe. The firm, recognized for its transformative investments and disciplined approach, is looking to hire a motivated Private Equity Associate to join their Frankfurt-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading global fund, gaining exposure to high-value investments and sector-focused strategies.

Role Overview

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, executing, and managing investments across key sectors. From sourcing opportunities to driving value creation in portfolio companies, you will collaborate with experienced professionals and leverage the firm’s deep industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis and market research.
  • Develop detailed financial models to assess opportunities and inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on deal negotiations and structuring.
  • Support the execution of transactions and actively contribute to portfolio management initiatives.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to implement strategic and operational improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector trends and identify high-potential investment opportunities within target industries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is highly regarded.
  • 1–3 years of experience in top-tier consulting (MBB) or Tier-1 Bulge Bracket investment banking.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling and due diligence processes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Fluency in German (native level) is essential, along with proficiency in English.
