About the Company - As a leading commercial bank from Taiwan, First Commercial Bank, Ltd. has a presence in more than 17 countries with more than 43 overseas branches and offices across the world. To expand our global corporate banking services, our Frankfurt Branch in Germany are looking for a qualified Finance Officer with regulatory reporting background for Finance Department to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily accounting transactions and reports
  • Preparation of Monthly, quarterly and annual Regulatory Reporting according to financial Institution requirements in Germany
  • Corporate Taxation related task, Implementation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS and the associated reporting
  • Preparation of budget calculations / projections
  • Ad hoc analyses for the management
  • Listings for the annual financial statements in accordance with the HGB
  • Provision of data and reports for auditors and the management
  • Handle the Branch’s corporate tax matters
  • Preparing of Management Reporting and Disclosure Report
  • Contact person for relevant topics and processes
  • Review, revise and maintain the Polices & Procedures and corporate documents in the relevant area updated, according to the regulatory and Head Office’s requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the area of German banking regulatory reporting (i.e. Bista, ALMM, Ana Credit, LCR, NSFR, EinSig etc.);
  • Practice in creating reports and using reporting software solutions (ideally BAIS)
  • Banking training with relevant professional experience or successfully completed business and university studies) with a banking background
  • Good knowledge of the HGB bank balance sheet.
  • Fluent German and English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
