Technical Sales and Key Account Manager (f / m / d)

Groß-Gerau, Germany

The incumbent will accelerate LEM’s growth in his dedicated territory within Germany by building and further developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders of our existing customers, as well as seeking new business opportunities.

He / she will bring a firsthand understanding of customer needs and market trends in order to build the most impactful commercial strategy for LEM.

A Strong sales management experience with engineering background is required and a specific technical expertise in electrical or electronic engineering is preferred.

Key responsibilities :

  • Acts as account manager for key customers in a dedicated region
  • Actively promotes LEM product portfolio and roadmap to existing customers but also new prospects.
  • Demonstrates autonomy and pro-activity to achieve ambitious sales growth without compromise on profitability.
  • Develops strong relationship with key customer’s stakeholders such as Engineering and Purchasing teams.
  • Coordinates LEM response teams during RFQ / RFI phase
  • Improves sales tools and process efficiency.
  • Streamlines LEM collaboration between sales, local field application Engineers and R&D team in project development phase.
  • Feed the Global Product Management team with insights regarding LEM market and competitive environment.
  • Exchanges with other Sales Manager on global Key Accounts strategy
  • Provides meaningful regular and ad hoc reports.

Requirements :

  • Degree in electrical engineering or electronics.
  • Complementary business degree would be a plus.
  • Experience in Sales in power electronics or semi-conductor business would be a plus.
  • Good judgment, negotiation, and business skills.
  • Autonomous, proactive, problem solver.
  • Result oriented, motivated by ambitious challenges.
  • Ability to sell internally and externally at all levels to all functions.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Willing to travel frequently within Germany (up to 30% the of time).
