Master Thesis on Event-Based Computer Vision (d / f / m)

  • Start : As soon as possible
  • Duration : 6 months

We at Airbus Central Research & Technology pioneer cutting edge technologies for future airborne and spaceborne systems, providing novel functionalities whilst reducing the environmental footprint of Airbus products and services.

You will join the team of our researchers working on sensors and data processing.

With your contribution you will make an impact on computer vision algorithms for event-based camera sensors for Airbus.

    • Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Research on existing algorithms for event-processing.
  • Development of a tailored algorithms
  • Evaluation and testing on pre-recorded datasets
  • Documentation of results, potential conference / journal publication

    • Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time master student and you are ready to start a master thesis in Computer Science or in Engineering, Physics and Mathematics (with a background in signal processing)
  • You are proficient in algorithm development and coding
  • You have good mathematical skills in order to analyze and to understand complex algorithms
  • You like to work in an agile and dynamic environment, with a high degree of freedom and self-motivation.
  • Required knowledge of one (or more) of the following languages (in order of preference) : C++, Julia or Python.
  • Languages : English (fluent).
