Responsibilities :
Identifyand "qualify" Microbiologyprospects and assessing customer needs,interests and qualifications in the Identification / antimicrobialsusceptibility testing (ID / AST) and Lab Automation fields in theRegion : Köln, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Essen, Frankfurt amMain .
Developand maintain an accurate weekly forecast of sales projectssubstantiated by accurate documentation and planned follow-upactions.
Continually developknowledge of products, market and industry trends, competition andcustomer strategies for potentialdevelopment.
Drive theagreed sales strategy and implement strategic closing actionplan to meet area and country salesobjectives.
Be the primarycontact for customers within the area and handle customers´ issuesexpeditiously andprofessionally.
Work inconjunction with marketing to resolve customer conflicts bydeveloping and implementing strategies and solutions designed toimprove customersatisfaction.

Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor´s degree or equivalent qualification in Science, ideallyin Biology or a degree as a Medizinisch Technische Assistent
Ideally several yearsof professional experience in a similar sales position withfocus on Sales / Acquisition / BusinessDevelopment with capital equipment in the MedicalDevices sector.
Ideally experiencein direct selling in a similar field of Microbiology , processingexpert knowledge in Microbiology / Bacterial Identification / Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing and a proven track record inmeeting and exceeding salestargets.
Ideallyan understanding of the German healthcare system and IVDtesting in a hospital environment as well as in the privatesector.
An understanding ofbusiness management systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint andCRM tools.
A fullclean drivinglicense
Language skills : German and English on a professionallevel
