Project Overview :

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Drupal Backend Developer to join their dynamic and international IT team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable online solutions and will take the lead on multi-market and multi-language projects.

You will work closely with project managers and other developers, contributing to both technical excellence and strategic IT development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop scalable solutions, such as booking platforms, e-learning systems, and modular websites.
• Serve as a technical lead, bridging communication between project management and development teams.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, contributing to the company's long-term IT strategy.

Experience and Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience as a Drupal backend developer, especially on large, multilingual websites.
• Proficiency in Acquia Drupal Cloud, Composer, CMI, and Git.
• Strong understanding of Drupal deployment scripts.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
• A strong team player, with an entrepreneurial mindset, committed to continuous personal and professional development.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or above).

Nice to have Qualifications :

• Experience with Drupal profiles and distributions.
• Familiarity with Pantheon, Platform.sh, and CI / CD strategies.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.
• German and / or Spanish language skills.
• Experience delivering sessions at Drupal conferences (e.g., Drupalcamps, Drupalcons).
• Contributions to the Drupal.org issue queue.
