Your Responsibilities –

  • Penetration Testing : Independently organize and execute penetration tests, focusing on OT components, embedded systems, SCADA, control units, or industrial networks.
  • Security Assessments : Identify attack vectors and assess the existing technical security level.
  • Threat Intelligence : Research and experiment with new attack methods and tools.
  • Bug Bounty : Identify vulnerabilities in OT / IoT products and communicate findings to manufacturers.
  • Consulting : Advise and support internal teams as an expert on cybersecurity topics related to energy systems.

Your Profile – Authentic and Ambitious

  • A degree in IT security, computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification / experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for vulnerabilities, attack methods, and bypassing security measures, particularly in OT, IoT, or hardware.
  • Expertise in independently conducting technical security analyses and penetration tests.
  • Ideally, certified in relevant fields (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GICSP, GRID, GCIP).
  • High levels of motivation, creativity, flexibility, teamwork, and a desire for continuous learning (e.g., certifications).
  • Proactive, professional, and solution-oriented communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong ethical mindset with knowledge of applicable standards and norms.
  • Ability to think outside the box and approach problems unconventionally yet professionally.
  • Willingness to travel and undergo security screening.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
