Social Media Specialist

About the department :

The Marketing Department within BYD Automotive GmbH is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies to drive performance and deliver results that align with business objectives in Germany.

Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.

The Role :

Key objectives and responsibilities :

• Deliver social media plans for Germany marketing team
• Optimize and report on all campaigns sharing results with wider team
• Work with creative team to ensure best practice creative is used
• Assist with quarterly and annual planning of marketing budgets

Key results :

• Web traffic and leads driven by media campaigns
• Increasing engagement and performance of social media campaigns
• Improving brand awareness and image of BYD in Germany

The Person :

We are looking for a Paid Social Media Specialist, to lead the strategic and tactical execution of the paid social campaigns.

You will ensure the paid social media strategy is executed, implementation and optimization goals are achieved, and client’s targets are met as efficiently as possible.

Campaigns will be a mix of branding and direct response. You will work with partners including Meta, Pinterest and TikTok.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results driven.

They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team and be an effective mentor and role model to their team.

The dynamic and fast-paced nature of Paid Social demands a mix of creative and analytical skills to drive results. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in paid social.

Your profile :

• University Degree in Marketing, Sales, or commercial disciplines.
• Effective and fluent communicator in German (C1 level or above), with strong proficiency in English
• Excellent Microsoft office skills.
• Experience in social media planning and execution of 360 campaigns.
• Understanding of media market and key media owners, Meta and TikTok.
• Knowledge of current digital media landscape and ability to optimize performance campaigns.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
• Resilient and open minded.
• Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands on approach, motivated to get results.
