Retail Field Trainer Lingerie Styling - North Germany (m / f / d)

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a Trainer can be divided into 3 main areas :

  • WEBINAR & CLASSROOM TRAINING (Approx. 20%)
  • You deliver classroom trainings following the guidelines provided by the global Van de Velde Academy team program.
  • You host webinars following the guidelines provided by the global Van de Velde Academy team program.
  • FIELD COACHING (Approx. 70%)
  • You coach lingerie retail staff / owners on the shop floor on Lingerie Styling, selling techniques & product knowledge.
  • You support lingerie retail staff / owners during events / activities in boutique (VIP events, open days, after work party,…)
  • You are a true Van de Velde ambassador within the different channels that sell our brands (Independent Retail Partners, our own Rigby & Peller stores, our Rigby & Peller franchise stores & Department Stores).
  • Occasionally, you will back up the Sale Representative for customers visits, showroom sales meeting / fairs.
  • ADMIN (Approx.10%)
  • You book training rooms, set-up training equipment for training programs.
  • You prepare each training, per cycle and customers priorities.
  • You schedule your time for reporting and travel.

Your profile

  • You have minimum 4 years of retail experience in fashion and lingerie.
  • Ideally you live around Hannover in Niedersachsen or West Berlin.
  • You love being on the road in the North of Germany and you are fond of working independently and organizing your own schedule in an efficient manner.
  • You have a strong personality and you are confident in working with and talking to different kinds of people / diverse customers / sales people, … (internally and externally).
  • You work together with the Van de Velde sales team to achieve the targets that were determined by your manager.
  • You are able to assess and communicate customer needs within Van de Velde.
  • Collaboration with your team and colleagues is key. We expect you to share best practices and adapt this in your training. You are comfortable with connecting remotely / digitally and working together from a distance.
  • You are hands-on, a great listener and you think in solutions.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • Travelling and flexible working hours are not a problem for you. Most of your time you will be on the road.
  • You are digital minded, and you can work with MS office, tablet, smartphone and other digital platforms.
