Summary
We are looking for a “Project Manager Avionics / Self Protection Systems (f / m / d)” for the “Self Protection Systems Air” division at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.
The “Self Protection Systems Air” division is responsible for handling international customer projects as well as internal development projects relating to self-protection systems for helicopters and airplanes. The interdisciplinary project teams are made up of team members from the Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Sales departments, among others, and work in a national and international environment to achieve project goals and acquire new projects and customers.
Your Tasks
Handling of national and international customer projects in the field of self-protection systems for flying platforms
Managing and ensuring the cooperation of all necessary stakeholders in an international environment during the entire project phases
Achieving the project objectives, particularly in terms of cost, time and performance / quality, including by ensuring the implementation of proactive risk & opportunity and claim & waiver management
Initiating, managing and coordinating all measures necessary to achieve the objectives in the organizational units involved
Supporting the planning and implementation of the division's strategic tasks with the aim of market-related development of products and future concepts, expanding market share and ensuring the implementation and follow-up of this strategy in the area of responsibility
Acquisition support and the preparation of offers based on customer inquiries to achieve our international growth targets
Active contribution to the good team spirit of our department and to a strong corporate culture
Your Profile
Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, business management or similar
Several years of professional experience in project management
Experience of working in international teams and as an interface to a wide range of organizational units and customers
Experience in managing complex military projects with multiple subcontractors
Experience in bid preparation and contract negotiations in an international environment
Knowledge / experience in the field of aerospace and / or defense, ideally especially knowledge of self-protection systems
Independent, solution-oriented work and very good communication skills
Confident manner in an international, military environment and when conducting negotiations
Business fluent in German and English
