As our Packaging Specialist / PCR Expert , you’ll be our go-to resource for technical guidance on PCR materials and packaging processes. Your input will drive successful project outcomes for brand partners, shape our platform’s development, and ensure that we deliver the right recycled plastics for our clients applications.
Your Tasks
- Technical Sales Support (Input & Coordination)
Make experience-based recommendations for brands looking to implement PCR plastics
Advise on mechanical properties, substances, colour, and compliance for rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, rPP, and other materialsCommunicate possible “what if” scenarios for different conversion methods (blowing, injection, formingClient Project CoordinationCollect demand and technical requirements from clients, ensuring clear, concise documentation
Evaluate material and supply options, identifying the best fit for each use caseIdentify lab test requirements and coordinate with suppliers and labs for testing methodsDetermine sample needs : type of resin, sample format (resin, plates, bottles, closures), quantities, timing, and deliveryManage compliance documentation (declarations, lab results) and share data packages with relevant stakeholdersProvide end-to-end qualification support, troubleshooting issues and bridging gaps between brand technical teams and supplierPlatform DevelopmentBe the voice of material and technical insights in the design and functionality of the Resycure digital platform
Suggest improvements that streamline how brands and suppliers connect, qualify materials, and manage documentationYour Profile
Ideally hold a degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience working in packaging at a brand or converterPractical experience with packaging conversion processes (blow moulding, injection moulding, thermoforming, etc.)Familiarity with how different material properties align (or clash) with specific packaging formats like bottles, jars, pouches, films, trays, and closuresUnderstanding of technical specifications for PCR materials (rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, rPP), including compliance requirements and colour considerationsExperience with compliance and testing documentation and proceduresPractical experience in end-to-end packaging qualification and delivering high standards in technical projectsMarket awareness of trends, developments, and upcoming regulatory changes in packaging and sustainabilityStructured, organised, and thorough, with a willingness to learn quickly and communicate clearlyMotivated by positive impact , excited to tackle challenges, and ready to join a fast-paced startup environmentWe offer
