Are you eager to join a highly skilled dynamic team and collaborate closely with R&D teams across clinical domains to successfully bring our products to market

For our R&D Tracking Technologies team we are looking for a motivated Project Engineer. R&D Tracking Technologies is one of the central divisions at Brainlab. Here we design and implement interfaces to established and new tracking technologies used in our core IGS (Image Guided Surgery) solutions. Thus your contribution will have an impact on the daily work in hospitals around the world. Our core mission is to be a highquality service provider for other R&D teams that integrate our software into the overall product solution. You will work with optical and electromagnetic tracking technologies and develop new methods algorithms and applications in that field. Additionally our team serves as the research hub inside the company so be prepared to work with highly skilled colleagues who approach each topic with a scientific attitude. Understanding evaluating and compiling clear assessments for further decisionmaking about new technologies is part of our daily work.

As a member of our R&D Tracking Technologies team you will

  • Work closely with clinical application teams to ensure smooth technical and documentation integration into the final product
  • Drive and support the product development process of software solutions
  • Coordinate define and execute verification and validation activities
  • Create technical documentation according to international and company standards
  • Generate ideas work on feasibility studies compile research reports and transfer successful concepts into medical devices

Qualifications :

  • You have graduated with a degree in (medical) engineering or similar discipline
  • Your working style is wellorganized and proactive
  • You work independently and take over responsibility for own work packages
  • You possess excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • You are passionate about continuous improvement and challenging the statusquo
  • Expertise in collaboration teamwork and networking is highly valued
  • Ideally you have some experience working in a highly regulated environment (technical documentation for medical devices or working according to design control)
