What you ll do

The BTP ABAP Organization owns the ABAP platform, containing the ABAP server, the ABAP programming language, the ABAP development tools, and all the necessary infrastructure for designing, implementing, testing, deploying, running, and operating ABAP applications.

BTP ABAP’s RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is the leading programming model introduced by SAP for building Fiori applications in SAP S / 4HANA.

RAP simplifies the process of developing and deploying cloud-ready applications by providing a structured approach to define business objects, service definitions, and service bindings.

It also supports both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring flexibility and adaptability for various deployment scenarios.

As an Associate ABAP Developer in the SAP BTP ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) family, you take over accountability for design, implementation, maintenance and support of our leading programming model.

• design and implement new RAP features with ABAP.
• test our deliverables to make sure they’ll work correctly.

What you bring

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a Natural Science discipline
• Experience in ABAP or any other contemporary programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C++
• Fluent skills in German and English
• Experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is advantageous, but not a mandatory requirement.
• We welcome both entry-level applicants and experienced candidates.
