Job / Position Summary

Responsibilities :

  • Participate in Teardown and Benchmarking analysis.
  • Perform Cost calculations of Casting, Forging and Sheet metal components.
  • Create concept design and prepare drawings.
  • Coordinate with Cross Functional Teams.
  • Provide technical and CAD support as per Customer requirement.
  • Customer is Europe’s leading industrial product / manufacturer.

Your Profile :

  • 5 + years' experience with Value Engineering in Industrial / Earth moving equipment / Commercial Vehicle domain.
  • Bachelors in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in Product costing.
  • Proficient executing designs with NX (experience with UG NX).
  • Understand of automotive lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Forklift design.
  • Experience in cost analysis related to automotive products, SAP experience as well as DFMA, aPriori costing tools.
  • Good level of German language (min. B1) and proficiency level of English (min. B2) is expected.
  • Ideally experience in the independent management of projects.
  • Analytical thinking and structured way of working is required.
  • Your enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
