Operations Manager

Our client is a well-established logistics company. With over 50 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector the company is known for its modern fleet high service standards and strong commitment to sustainability and operational connection with the companys growth and the need to strengthen team management we are looking for a person for the position of :

Tasks

• Lead operational excellence : Manage and optimize daily transport operations to ensure smooth efficient and timely service delivery.
• Strategic decision-making : Develop and implement strategic plans to address logistical challenges and enhance overall performance.
• Cross-department collaboration : Act as a central link between management fleet dispatch and departments such as sales and finance.
• Effective communication : Foster open and transparent communication across teams clients and business partners.
• Team leadership and development : Coach mentor and empower team members to achieve professional growth and deliver high performance.
• Process improvement and digitalization : Initiate and lead projects focused on simplifying and digitalizing workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of operational or sales experience in the transportation sector or experience in a similar managerial position within a logistics or transport company.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Fluent English and German are required.

Openness and willingness to learn.

Drive for continuous development and improvement.

Knowledge of the container transport business will be considered an advantage.

Knowledge of Russian will be an asset.
