These are your tasks :

  • Advising and supporting the specialist departments in the expansion of reporting solutions and integration of city-wide processes in cooperation with the internal SAP expert team
  • Design and support of on-premise solutions based on the existing SAP BW landscape
  • Development and maintenance of data models in the area of data modeling and design that meet internal requirements
  • Implementation and management of ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the BW system
  • Creation of reports, planning masks and dashboards to support business requirements and decision-making processes
  • Monitoring and maintenance of the BW system including performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Supporting end users in the use of the BW system and providing training
  • Management of sub-projects to implement new BW solutions or improve existing systems

This is your profile :

You need one of the following qualifications for the job :

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma (FH) in computer science or business informatics or
  • Other qualifications (e.g. IT specialist [f / m / d]) with extensive relevant skills and experience and at least two years of relevant professional experience or
  • Civil servant (f / m / d) of the 3rd QE / in the higher civil service, career path natural sciences and technology, specializing in administrative informatics, or
  • Civil servant (f / m / d) of the 3rd QE / in the higher service, administration and finance career path, with at least three years of relevant professional experience and extensive relevant skills and experience, or
  • Administrative specialist (f / m / d) (Fachprüfung II) with at least three years of relevant professional experience and extensive relevant skills and experience
  • You also have :

  • Several years of experience in the use of Business Warehouse, SAC or Datasphere, ideally from the SAP consulting environment
  • Good knowledge of SAP ABAP and Web Dynpro as well as experience in the UI5 environment (e.g. Fiori)
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. HANA, SQL) advantageous
  • Interest in financial topics, a high level of analytical competence, an independent way of working and a strong customer and service orientation
  • Initiative, independence, commitment and very good communication skills
  • Willingness to work (infrequently) in the evenings or at weekends as required
