Your tasks

  • Development, analysis and optimization of precision mechanical and optical systems for high-precision measurement tasks in DUV photomask metrology
  • Development and evaluation of error budgets
  • Development of system and assembly concepts
  • Simulation of influences on measurement accuracy and derivation of development priorities
  • Taking on an interdisciplinary role in a matrix organization in an agile environment
  • Close exchange with colleagues from Engineering, Service and Operations as well as support with troubleshooting tasks

    • Your profile

  • Completed studies in a scientific or technical field with a focus on optics, optical design or systems engineering (doctorate an advantage)
  • Professional experience in the implementation of challenging development projects
  • Passion for precision measurement technology and knowledge of microscopy
  • Experience in automated data analysis with Matlab; basic knowledge in the development and integration of software modules an advantage
  • Independent, innovative and structured way of working, coupled with the ability to prepare, present and document complex issues clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work in a team and enjoy collaborating in a global team
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
