Field Application Engineer - embedded systems

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join a global leader in wireless connectivity solutions. This role can be based in Dusseldorf or from home.

This is a chance to join a small, growing team as the first Technical Field Application Engineer within our client’s European entity. Growth in Germany is the company’s priority this year, and they are embarking on a new product line, an extremely powerful platform. They Field Application Engineer will work as a main technical point of contact for embedded systems with clients spanning Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia.

To be successful in this position as Field Application Engineer, you will need :

• A BSc / MSc in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or similar
• A number of years’ experience within a customer-facing role (Field Application Engineer, Support Engineer or similar)
• A good understanding of embedded systems
• Any prior experience in the wireless / RF domain / connectivity domain would be useful, although not essential
• Fluent language skills in English
