The DFG-funded Research Training Group RTG-2900 "" at Osnabrück University is seeking to appoint 12 PhD positions to commence work on January 1, 2024. The positions are limited until June 30, 2027.
The research projects of "" focus on the interdisciplinary development of new methods to follow molecular processes on biological membranes with highest spatial and temporal resolution. To this end, nanomaterials are to be specifically synthesized and integrated into surface architectures in such a way that they can be used for spectroscopic and microscopic investigations of biological membranes with sensitivities in the single-molecule range. To this end, the 12 research projects of the Research Training Group are organized into four interdisciplinary project clusters :
