IT Infrastructure & Security Manager (m/f/d)

Summary

As the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining medium-complexity storage, data center, network, and client/server environments. You will ensure solutions align with industry best practices and/f serve as a third-line point of escalation for global infrastructure issues. Your role includes maintaining enterprise architecture artifacts and delivering digital solution architecture services, including preparing conceptual and logical architecture diagrams to guide technical direction and document future-state architectures. You will collect and analyze business requirements through various methods, expressing them in terms of target user roles and goals. Additionally, you will communicate the local action plan, linking it to the function's strategy and the broader organization's mission and vision, while motivating and leading your team to achieve local business objectives.

Security Management:

• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of security measures, such as firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Develop and enforce security policies to protect IT infrastructure and data.

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.

System Management:

• Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and management of all IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and databases.

• Optimize costs while maintaining high levels of service and security.

• Able to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for IT infrastructure growth and scalability.
• Adept at recognizing and incorporating new technologies and methodologies to enhance IT infrastructure and security.

Technical Proficiency:

• Network and System Administration: Manage and configure network devices, servers, and virtual environments.
• Security Technologies: Proficiency with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, encryption methods, and other security technologies.
• Cloud Computing: Knowledge in cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Network Administration: Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Systems Administration: Manage servers (Windows Server, Linux/Unix), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage systems (SAN/NAS).
• Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.

Cybersecurity Expertise:

• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, implement risk mitigation strategies, and manage security risks effectively.
• Security Operations: Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), antivirus software, and endpoint protection.
• Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, conduct investigations, and manage security incidents.
  

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of cumulative experience in IT, with a significant focus on IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity within EU is a MUST.
• 5-7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure components such as networks (LAN/WAN), servers (Windows, Linux/Unix), virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage systems.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles, including knowledge and skills in risk management, security operations, incident response, and compliance.
• 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, overseeing teams responsible for IT infrastructure and security operations.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and develop teams, manage projects, and align IT strategies with organizational goals.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): Demonstrates expertise in information security.
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM): Focuses on security management and governance.
• CompTIA Security+: Entry-level certification validating foundational cybersecurity knowledge.
• ITIL Foundation: Helps in understanding IT service management processes.
