Quality R&D Engineer (m / f)

Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities would include :

  • Leading all HW / SW Quality related activities during development which includes :
  • Following the HW / SW Quality plans by checking work products and process compliance
  • Analyzing customer HW / SW quality requirements and support the allocation
  • Attending product reviews and customer meetings
  • Guiding and supporting the HW / SW teams
  • Exchanging project status with AQE Engineers
  • Supporting test planning
  • Supporting FMEA activities
  • Being the interface for quality activities between HW / SW development, Functional Safety and Advanced Quality Engineering
  • Performing functional safety assessments, confirmation reviews and ASPICE audits
  • Supporting any HW or SW related activity in the later phases of a product lifecycle e.g., change requests after SOP, analysis for 8D reports

You would need to meet the following requirements :

  • Academic degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge / experience of :
  • Development in the automotive industry
  • HW development (Architecture, Schematics, Layout) and / or SW development (Architecture, Design)
  • Quality norm IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standard (ISO 26262)
  • A good knowledge of :
  • Automotive Quality processes and tools (FMEA, FMEDA, 8D etc.)
  • ASPICE / Functional Safety assessment and audits
  • Project management, Risk management, Requirements management, Configuration management, Change management
  • The following are considered an asset :
  • Experience in hardware or software testing (EMC, unit tests, integration tests, validation tests, etc.)
  • Understanding of Automotive Cybersecurity Standards (ISO 21434, ASPICE for Cybersecurity)
  • Understanding of SW tools (MS Office, JIRA, SVN etc.)
  • Experience with statistics tools and requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS)
  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude
  • Fluency in English is required; all other languages are considered an asset
