Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) – Full-Time | Kelsterbach Area
A well-established company located in the Kelsterbach area is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join their Finance & Accounting team as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Perform reconciliations between general and sub-ledgers
- Manage and maintain fixed asset accounting
- Execute payment runs for booked invoices
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Record monthly accruals in close collaboration with the Controlling team
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
Tax Compliance
- Responsible for VAT returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations
- Accurate and timely recording of all tax-related data
System Management
- Use ERP systems (ideally Winrest) to manage financial data
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with Controlling and other departments to ensure data accuracy
- Actively support audits and the annual closing process
Your Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Completed commercial training, ideally with further qualification in accounting or as a tax clerk
- Additional certifications ZVÜ, LuSi, IFSG) are a plus
Professional Experience & Knowledge
- Several years of experience in accounting, especially in preparing financial statements under HGB and VAT regulations
- Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems such as Winrest or similar
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong knowledge of German commercial and tax law
- Fluent in German and good command of English, both written and spoken
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style with a hands-on mentality
- Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills
