Senior Supplier Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Identifies & leads Lean Management Initiatives with our Suppliers to enable sustainable improvements that led into cost saving and / or avoidance.
- Leads continuous improvement programs of suppliers’ performance (and their second-tier suppliers) on their manufacturing processes, striving for zero defects .
- Supports the Supplier Selection Process and Supplier / Parts Qualification to Production
- Supports the identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for major impacting non-Conformities in products and services at Suppliers.
- Identify existing and / or potential opportunities for improvements in Quality & Costs.
- Monitor Supplier Performance KPI s, analyses supplier s manufacturing processes, quality records, complaints, FMEAs and other sources of data to
- Establish Initiatives at Suppliers to ensures that sufficient improvements will be implemented.
- Works closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality and R&D to assure continuous improvement of product, services, and processes to meet quality & cost requirements and regulatory compliance at the suppliers.
- Performs supplier manufacturing process audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure implementation of improvement actions.
- Provides technical Supplier Evaluations for Supplier selection acc Category and / or Sourcing Strategy Initiatives
- Provides technical guidance and expertise internally and to suppliers regarding manufacturing processes, methods, techniques and capabilities
- technical expertise on quality methods and manufacturing processes
Requirements :
- University degree, preferably in Mechanical / Chemicals / Electronics or Medical Engineering
- Six Sigma certification at least Green Belt
- Several (min 5) years of experience in leading Supplier Development Programs
- Several ( min 5 ) years of experience in Lean Management and Quality Management
- Proved experience on performing Supplier Audits
- Good knowledge of risk analysis techniques on products and processes (DFMEA, PFMEA)
- Proved methods of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
