Advanced Quality Engineer (m / f)
Located in Bissen / Luxembourg
Your responsibilities would include :
- Acting as a key contact to IEE customer for quality-relevant topics during development and serial production.
- Responsible for following quality activities such as (but not limited to) :
- Handling customer complaints
- Organizing and following up of customer audits
- Minimizing quality risks
- Preventing field actions
- Minimizing warranty costs and scrap costs
- Ensuring that customer quality requirements are known and fulfilled
- Planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing necessary quality-relevant measures during product and process development :
- Follow up on quality-relevant activities
- Confirming traceability from product requirements to product validation
- Ensuring quality of products
- Driving reviews on technical documentation
- Driving quality activities during the product industrialization phase
You would need to meet the following requirements :
University degree in electrical / mechanical EngineeringMinimum 2 years automotive experience in advanced quality activitiesExperience with the product development of electronics systems as a Development or Quality EngineerDetailed knowledge or relevant quality standards, tools and methods such as ISO 9001, ISO TS16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, FMEA, FTA, Risk assessment etc.Good knowledge of Automotive SPICE standard, basic knowledge of Functional safetyExcellent knowledge of 8D problem solving method inclusive relevant tools (5-Why, Ishikawa diagram, Flowchart diagram, Pareto diagrams, Brainstorming, Histograms etc.)Very good knowledge of StatisticsGood knowledge of :Requirements management, including tools like DOORSDevelopment lifecycles like V modelVerification methodsGood analytical skills in development work packagesExcellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsCreativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitudeFluency in English is required; all other languages are considered an assetWhy would you want to work with us?
