Legal Counsel - Renewable Energy Projects
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our clients team in Germany, specialising in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and battery storage.
As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance on a wide range of matters related to renewable energy projects and the wider business.
Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice and support on all aspects of renewable energy projects, including project development, financing, construction, and operation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards impacting renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate legal risks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support the company's renewable energy initiatives.
- Stay updated on legal developments and trends in the renewable energy sector to provide proactive legal advice and support.
Requirements :
- Admission to the German Bar Association passing both state examinations
- Proven experience in renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar, wind, and battery storage projects.
- Strong knowledge of German and EU energy laws, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and German languages.
