Black Utilities Engineer - Frankfurt - 12 Months Our client, one of the Germany’s largest pharmaceutical organisations is responsible for developing and manufacturing medicines, consumer products and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines. They have been responsible for the development of several key and revolutionary products and have a presence in the USA, EU and Asia-Pacific.
With continued organisational growth and a considerable amount of investment across the portfolio and capital programme, they are currently seeking the expertise of Black Utilities Engineer
Responsibilities: - Responsibility for development, coordination, follow up of all technical matters related to the black utilities and fire protection system
- Ensuring the design, construction, commissioning to agreed cost, timing and quality, in respect of standards.
- Coordination and supervision of engineering office and contractors for the BU packages.
- Definition, development, analysis and approval of specific technical requirements for BU in the project.
- Approval, follow up of commissioning activities and signing of commissioning protocols.
- Ensuring systems legal conformity.
- Participation on FAT and SAT of machines.
- Participation to the Hazops of all black systems.
- The automation of the black utilities is also part of the scope.
Experience/Background: - Experience within a highly regulated Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment
- Full lifecycle experience on the delivery of Utilities projects (equipment listed above).
- Previous experience of project lifecycle activities to include generating URS’s, undertaking design reviews, PID’s and support on the composition of business cases.
- A focus on Technical activities and Compliance/Validation.
- Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
- Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organising and planning skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, local vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff.
- Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
- Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
