To reinforce our CBID division, we are looking for a Technical Inclusion Advisor!

The position is part time with 19,5  h / week and limited to 2 years.

This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

About the role :

CBM is committed to promoting disability inclusion - not only within our own programming but also by support efforts by external stakeholders in disability mainstreaming. In this role as Technical Advisor for Inclusion (TAI) , you will provide capacity development to mainstream actors working in social development, education and other sectors in disability inclusive development and disability mainstreaming. The target audience ranges from local organizations and authorities in partner countries to government entities, academia and INGOs. Furthermore this role contributes towards growing the TAI portfolio and creating new TAI opportunities. The role works alongside another TAI advisor in close cooperation with our Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) advisors, CBM’s teams for business development and advocacy.

These are your responsibilities

• Act as the central focal point of the organization for specific external advisory services on disability inclusion as agreed with the line manager
• Customize workshops and trainings
• Proactively advertise and acquire advisory projects through relevant fora and communication channels
• Develop and regularly update CBM’s TAI offer based on demand
• Coordinate and implement advisory projects and manage agreements with other organisations
• Monitor content & financial aspects of the technical advisory projects
• External and internal reporting as required
• Ensure cost-recovery as much as possible
