We are now recruiting for a Head of Supply Chain Management at our Baden Baden base. This position is a Monday - Friday, permanent position.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational responsbility for the logistics department and its activities in accordance with EASA regulations and company procedures;
- Managing P&L, inventory results, OEMs warranty matters and claims throughout the fleet;
- Managing and expanding supplier's network in Europe and the USA;
- Developing RSPL and special programs with OEMs and suppliers;
- Monitoring of relevant orders, progress and critical points;
- Supporting CAMO with AOG events on a 24x7 basis;
- Supporting EASA Part-145 quality system program as well as audits;
- Performing and promoting continuous improvement processes;
- Implementing, monitoring, evaluating and refining relevant KPIs;
- Communicating and negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, ideally focused on Supply Chain Management with a solid understanding of international trade regulations;
- Bringing solid professional experience in supply chain management and logistics;
- Leadership skills and Hands-On mentality;
- Work in a structured and independent way, focusing on finding solutions to challenges;
- Familiar with the aviation industry, understand its regulations and are interested in technical products;
- Communicating confidently in fluent English a handle formal exchanges with authorities; French and German is a plus;
- Ability to pass airside clearance and obtain a ZUP within Germany;
- The right to work within the EU/Germany
