For our customer in NRW we are searching for an IP / MPLS Network Engineer (m / f / d).

Your tasks :

Consulting for the Engineering IP / MPLS Design team in the phase of designing, testing and improving new and existing solution designs which will later be implemented into the network
Consulting for design thinking processes and iterative development of a design document (LLD)
Understand new design requirements provided by architecture team and from business
Documenting design and test books and handing it over to the customer

Your qualifications :

Several years of experience in IP / MPLS network design and operations, working with service provider environments

Extensive hands-on experience with NOKIA, Cisco and Juniper technologies in configuration, troubleshooting and operations

Expert-level knowledge in : MPLS, IS-IS, BGP, BNG, CGN, and RADIUS / Routing & switching, with a focus on access and WAN routing / Network security and VPN encryption / Ethernet technologies and media access protocols

Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
